(April 28, 2025) Soul Basement can be classified as a dance music band, funk band and R&B/soul band. The group fronted by Band founder Fabio Puglisi has done all those things since emerging on the scene in 1997.
Soul Basement continues to evolve with “Let You Go,” their new song that is being featured in this First Listen. “Let You Go” is the new single from Soul Basement’s soon to be released album The Possibility of Happiness.
“Let You Go” has that contemporary R&B/hip-hop swag with sleek keyboard work that is under laid by a bumping and funky bass line. The song tells the story of a man who considers all of the reasons why he stays with a woman before coming to the conclusion that none of that can overcome the fact that she’s just not that into him.
