First Listen: Smokey Robinson and Mary J. Blige are happy “Being” together

Smokey PR 1 Autumn de Wilde

Smokey Robinson is one of the greatest soul singers and songwriters ever. It’s been over a half century since he entered the lives of music fans with his unique combination of clever poetry and killer hooks, and now he is an artist who is revered by all who came after.

Following in the steps of such artists as Frank Sinatra and Lionel Richie, Smokey is readying a new album of duet covers of some of his past hits. A couple weeks ago, we featured a new duet with John Legend. And today, we have Smokey teaming with the always-on-point Mary J. Blige on a cover of Smokey’s big hit, “Being With You.”

Check out Smokey and Mary J. Blige below and tell us what you think!
