World Premiere: Sal’s Greenhouse delivers classic disco jam

salsgreenhouse-4ever

(January 28, 2020) Sal’s Greenhouse is new to us, but from what we’ve heard so far, we’re going to become good friends. Led by singer Sally Green with some crackerjack musicians, the group has the feel of the East Coast disco sounds of the late 70s, with just a touch of rock.

All that comes out on the new single, “4 Ever.” It is being released on the Color Red label in advance of the act’s Bloom EP, due March 27. Produced by Grammy-nominated producer Justin Stanley (Prince, Beck), “4 Ever” is part Chic, part Blondie, and all fun.

Green tells us, “4 Ever was a song that took it’s own direction. We knew we were creating a four on the floor, sort of nu-disco groove that just makes you wanna move, but the percussive elements, and synths made it sound spontaneous, like how it feels to be fresh in love. There’s all these spooky layers, and it just makes you want to groove – like when you’re on the dance floor, and in love.”

We kind of fell in love with this one, taking us back to a classic dance groove. And so we’re proud to present the World Premiere, giving SoulTrackers a sneak peek. Check out “4 Ever” below and tell us what you think.
