(January 30, 2020) We’re just getting to know Virginia Beach singer and songwriter Rina Chanel, but she shows herself to be an artist with a sense of classic soul music – particularly the explosion of female vocalists during the 1980s.
A protégé of noted soul star Tracy Hamlin and a member of The Groove Factor band, Rina is working on her first EP, and debuts with “Worthy,” a tasty ballad that both acknowledges problems of a current romance and sets forth the self-affirmation of a woman who knows she deserves more.
