We introduced SoulTrackers to Austin native Quentin Moore last year and he won over quite a few fans with his album You Forgot Your Heart. Quentin is back with a new album called The Vday EP: Volume 2. It features more modern soul from a talented artist who always delivers.

Quentin is leading off the album with the new single “Take My Hand.”  He describes the song this way: “Take Hy hand” was written partly because of the recent events that have taken place in the US involving Mike Brown and Eric Garner, etc. I wanted people to focus on love and not the troubles of the world. I thought about what people in the 1950s and 60s (Hence the 60s vibe of the tune) did when they faced problems like racism and discrimination, etc. They Danced to music. The music healed them from the pain of those times. Also I wanted people to enjoy themselves and dance, Not worry about problems of the world, their jobs, being lonely, etc. Just Dance with somebody and fall in love and stuff! LOL! I hope this provides that therapy for the hurt, the lonely, the oppressed, and the stressed folk!’

“Take My Hand” is  our newest SoulTracks First Listen. Enjoy!
