(September 5, 2020) They were both stars at the top of their game in 1989, and the made some magic together that has been in the vaults for more than three decades. When the great Patti LaBelle then recorded her hit album, Be Yourself, she teamed with hitmakers Full Force for the song “I Got It Like That.” But the sessions included a dance track with Full Forcethat didn’t see the light of day…until now.
“Ain’t Nuthin’ But A Feelin’” was produced and written by Full Force, with background vocals and instrumentals performed by Full Force and Cheryl Pepsii Riley. Now being released worldwide, “Nuthin’” is being issued in several mixes, such as the super fresh “Cleaning House Mix” and the “The Ozone Layer Mix,” both of which are spearheaded by DJ Geenius (AKA Baby Gerry of Full Force), as well as the “M & M Mix” created by Remixer/Producer/DJ John Morales. Each remix was created using the song’s original analog tapes.
