(August 19, 2016) Madukwu Chinwah is a multi-instrumentalist known in the music world as a Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer who has worked with such luminaries as Erykah Badu, Tonéx, Roger Troutman, Sy Smith, Kirk Franklin, Christopher Williams, and more. The man who produced and co-wrote N’Dambi’s classic album, Little Lost Girls Blues, and her forthcoming release, Dream Junkie, is perhaps best known for producing and co-writing classic hits like Badu’s “Certainly,” “Rimshot,” and co-writing the Grammy-winning “Love of My Life,” the latter from the Brown Sugar Original Soundtrack. On his newly released debut album, Born 2 Win, the Dallas-based Chinwah steps out as a solo artist and proves a fine singer on his project’s title track and debut single, “Born 2 Win.”

With elements of classic soul that harken Stevie and more current artists like Frank McComb, Madukwu weaves a spell both musically and lyrically, and make the song a VERY auspicious introduction.

We’re proud to present the World Premiere of “Born 2 Win,” and are looking forward to hearing much, much more from this talented artist. Check it out below, grab the album today, and enjoy!
