October 27, 2019 – Mac Ayres is a singer, songwriter and guitarist from New York who is a veritable self-contained unit: He writes, produces and arranges his own tracks, often live in the studio, which trend toward alt-R&B/pop and highlight his soulful, mellifluous vocals.
We feature here the song “Smiley Boy” off Mac’s latest album, Juicebox, in which he incorporates soft bossa nova rhythms and weaves in and out of his very fine falsetto. Enjoy.
