(June 6, 2017) — You don’t have to go far down on the list of all-time great vocal groups to reach The Temptations, The Drifters and The Platters. And now former members of these three classic groups have come together to create a new song that should get SoulTrackers’ feet moving.

Glenn Leonard, former falsetto lead vocalist of the The Temptations (1975-1983), Joe Coleman, former lead vocalist of The Platters (1982-2004), and Joe Blunt, formerly of The Drifters (1975-1985), together form the new trio, Leonard, Coleman & Blunt, and they sound great together.

The DC trio’s first single, “My Time To Shine,” written by Joe Coleman, is the title track from their upcoming EP. And it is a terrific reintroduction to these talented singers on a song of self-affirmation and pride. Check it out below and welcome back some longtime favorites who are doing their thing right!
