(September 3, 2017) LeNora Jaye broke out with SoulTrackers a few years ago, when she released her excellent album The Story. She was such a hit, that she was voted as Best New Artist in the SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Awards.
Since then we’ve heard LeNora as a guest vocalist on some other artists’ albums, but have been anxiously waiting for new solo music from her. Well, it is finally here in the form of the new EP, Force Of Life. The EP is an exploration of R&B, Soul, House, Disco, Jazz and Brazilian rhythms, produced by longtime SoulTracks fave Astral22 (Armand Tulumello). And of course, LeNora sounds fantastic.
The EP’s title track has a light disco beat with an acid jazz backdrop. It is an instant adult soul gem, and a fantastic return for an artist who we missed. It is our newest SoulTracks First Listen. Check out “Force of Life” below and welcome back LeNora Jaye!
