(March 19, 2017) Latrice Pace comes to gospel music as a member of one of the genre’s royal families. There are the Winans, the Clarks and the Paces, and if have that surname, it’s kind of expected that you will take up the mantle.
Latrice Pace, the tenth sibling in the family, balked. A talented actress, Pace pursued her interest in live theater. However, Pace’s father let her know that gospel music is a family ministry. “There was no such thing as ‘doing something different,’” Pace recalled. Latrice Pace moved into the industry slowly, first singing in a group with her sisters and then traveling as assistant and road manager to her sister LaShaun Pace.
Latrice Pace is a polished veteran who brings her talents as an actress and singer to bear on the gospel balled “Be Still, Let Go.” The gospel ballad implores believers to let go of their doubts and fears and give them over to God’s sufficient grace shows that Pace is working fully in the family ministry.
