According to his official website, the music released on LHUA, “will span the breadth and the full depth of musical styles with the purpose of bringing the highest standards of song writing and composition to music lovers everywhere as once was the goal in previous times and appears to have been lost.”
If Julien’s first single is any indication, this artist is prepared to meet his self-imposed challenge. Julien’s release, “The Longer You Leave It, The Harder It’s Gonna Get” – a song that serves as a reminder of the costs of putting off for tomorrow what should be done today – hits on a theme that is topical on so many levels. The actual theme of this soulful ballad is especially right on time because it addresses humanity’s unwillingness to address everything from global warming, to the Coronavirus pandemic to racism. However, the lyrics can also address the sins of omission that we commit in our personal lives.
