(August 18, 2017) It has been a couple years since we all basked in the excellent album, Anatomy of a Love Song, by Kenny Lattimore. And the singer/songwriter certainly showed that he still had it, issuing one of the truly enjoyable adult soul albums of that year.
Well, Kenny is now back with a new song that shows again that he has hit a real mid-career groove. “Push” is a cool midtempo about a man who realizes he made a mistake in letting his love go, and now he is trying to undo the damage. No word yet about an accompanying album, but for now we’ll just sit back and hearing Mr. Lattimore’s smooth tenor voice sounding as good as ever.
