These days, he’s 72 year old Bishop Joe Simon, and he’s singing to the Lord rather than his lady. And he has a new single about perserverance and the power of faith, “Lord They Said I Wasn’t Gonna Be Nothin.” The song features Mr. Simon’s recognizable baritone and a strong beat.
