(January 27, 2020) It seems that every time we hear talented UK singer Jo Harman, she is creating something even more special. We first heard her when she was providing a powerful duet with Motown legend Lamont Dozier, then on a great pairing with Michael McDonald and finally on a truly special live cover of the classic AWB ballad, “Cloudy.”
Those who don’t know this incredibly gifted singer will be in for a treat this coming March, when she releases a live set with Redtenbacher’s Funkestra that is authentic and totally unedited. Signature Soul promises to be a tasty blend of originals and cover songs and a variety of styles ranging from blues to soul to gospel.
In advance of the disc, we’re excited to give SoulTrackers a sneak peek in the form of Jo’s powerful cover of the Kris Kristofferson and Rita Coolidge 1973 duet, “Loving Arms.” She quite simply makes the song her own, and provides a truly special moment that gets us even more excited about the upcoming album.
We have the World Premiere video for this stunning song. Check it out below and welcome Jo Harman back to SoulTracks.
