First Listen: Soul vet Jayar Mack makes us “Feel So Good”

jayar_300_dpi

(February 22, 2018)  We first came about multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, arranger, and producer Jayar Mack when he was a vital part of soulful Latin group Cintron, which we introduced to SoulTrackers over a decade ago. But the Chicago-born musician has stayed busy since then, recording nine albums with the group but also working with a who’s who of soul stars, including a stint as music director for The Ebonys.

Now after years working in groups and with other stars, Jayar is moving to the front – and showing off his tenor voice — with the brand new single, “You Make Me Feel So Good,” the first release from the upcoming album The Best of Jayar Mack, which chronicles 25 years of his career.

“You Make Me Feel So Good” has a 90s new jack swing kind of feel, with a infectious joy that permeates the song.

We’re proud to present “You Make Me Feel So Good” are our newest SoulTracks First Listen. Check it out below, and tell us what you think!
