(February 3, 2021) Turning a tragedy into triumph, Minneapolis artist Jason Peterson DeLaire delivers a new song worthy of its title. “Love Can Heal the World” is a labor of love, featuring some music heavyweights that came together for a great cause.
Inspired by the civiil and racially charged events occuring in the Minneapolis area last summer, DeLaire was compelled to pen a song that spoke to the hearts of those impacted most. It’s a melodic mid-tempo cut filled emotion and urgency. Co-produced by Ricky Peterson and led by inspired vocal performances from Jazz/R&B legend Oleta Adams, budding superstar Jarrod Lawson, Rockie Robbins and DeLaire himself, the song has a simple but powerful message laid out in the chorus: “Love can heal the world, all you gotta do is open up your heart. We can be the spark to make this world a better place.
While this number, due for release on February 5, is sure to garner significant attention, it is part of an even larger movement. DeLaire has partnered with Rock The Cause, a non-profit organization, and the proceeds from the song and the associated GoFundMe campaign will go back to the community to help music programs and entertainment venues that are struggling during this time.
Check out “Love Can Heal The World” and let it inspire you to make a difference in your community and family.
