The combination of powerful singer Janiva Magness and songwriter Dave Darling has led to well deserved acclaim over four albums that have covered soul, rock, country and blues. And that duo comes together again on Janiva’s upcoming album Love Wins Again, slated for an April 8th release on Fathead Records/Blue Elan Records.
The first sounds coming from the album are in the form of the bluesy, soulful ballad, “Rain Down,” a song that has the feel of 70s Memphis, and an absolutely classic sound, all fronted by Janiva’s expressive, rich voice.
