(December 31, 2024) I.Khan is an artist whose presence can be seen at multiple levels of the entertainment industry. She’s an actress, singer, and songwriter who has worked as a backing vocalist and been a member of a singing group. Her polish is the result of her years of training and by watching and learning from her legendary mother, Chaka Khan.
I.Khan continues to grow as singer and songwriter. The “How Things Changed” singer returns with her latest, “Edible.” The tune is a play on the concept of an edible, singing about mind- and mood-altering powers of her bae.
Singing over an arrangement where percussion and a funky bass line, I.Khan is in the moment as she acknowledges that the gummies, brownie or whatever edible she has ingested is making her feel good, but the words and actions of her lover take her to a level that not even the best mind-altering treats can attain.
