She has a big, fun voice and talent that goes on for days. Nigerian-Australian singer/songwriter Gazele couples the fierce energy of soul singers such as Liv Warfield with the pop sensibility of Emeli Sande.
The young singer has just completed her forthcoming EP, LoveLife, a four-track collection that mixes R&B and infectious pop. We have taken a shine to the bouncy single, “On My Mind.” Gazele tells us about the song, “’On My Mind’ has a fun, old school, almost throw-back vibe. It’s about that first love, that first experience of love, that first tingle that you have in your heart where you’re like ooohh I think I like someone, no wait I think I love them.”
