(March 24, 2020) They had a big influence on popular music of the 1980s and 90s with their unique blend of doo-wop and hip-hop. The Force MDs helped define the era, and enjoyed a string of big hits that we still love listening to today.
The group has had its share of tragedies over the years, but they’ve soldiered on as a trio, providing us with a lot of enjoyment earlier this year with the hit “Make U Happy.” They’re now back with a follow up song that isn’t as instantly infectious as “Make U Happy,” but which still shows them to be in fine voice.
“Don’t Rush” tells the familiar R&B tale of the guy who wants to take his time romancing his woman. He may not have a lot new to say, but The Force MDs certainly make him say it in style. Check out “Don’t Rush” below and tell us what you think.
