First Listen: Ezre is “Two Faced” on new single

ezre

(August 27, 2019) Cleveland, Ohio, up and coming artist Ezre (pronounced EZ-ree) is new to us, but she has a classic sound in her rich, soulful voice. She scored a moderate hit with her last record, “Baby I Love You,” and now she is back looking for more.

Ezre’s new single “Two Faced” opens with an electric guitar and her easing her way vocally into a song about a difficult situation: A romantic situation that she knows she should leave, but…just…can’t.

She tells us, “In ‘Two Faced,’ the main message is about trying to find your way through a toxic relationship.  It’s about feeling like you’ve sacrificed too much to give up on things and then seeing that you can’t avoid the toxic parts of a person by focusing on the good things.”

Ezre makes a bad day sound really, really good. We’re looking forward to hearing more from her, but for now we’ll simply enjoy this one. Check it out below.
