First Listen: Dayna Madison longs for love on “Don’t Wanna Miss U”

(June 23, 2025) Dayna Madison’s talents are so varied that consumers of pop culture can’t be surprised where she shows up. Madison, a trained dancer, performed as a cheerleader for the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies. She turned heads on season 15 of the program So You Think You Can Dance.

Madison’s talents as a singer and songwriter resulted in her music being used on several television shows, including Grown-ish and Bel-Air. Madison can make the kind of music that draws people to the dance floor. However, on her latest – “Don’t Wanna Miss U” – Madison embraces acoustic guitar soul.

“Don’t Wanna Miss U” is tune where Madison’s achingly personal and vulnerable vocals caress lyrics that tell the story of a woman who drops pretense because loneliness is unbearable when the one you want is within reach. The acoustic guitar gives the song an added intimacy.  Check out Dayna Madison’s latest gem, “Don’t Wanna Miss U” here.
