(November 18, 2021) A great voice can and often is heard in a variety of places. For the purposes of this gathering place, we know that, excellent vocalists like DaChonne Nicole will use their vocal instrument on ballads such as her recently released “Now You’re Gone.” However, Nicole is not one to operate within the limits of the four minute ballad, regardless of how good that song is. And. “Now You’re Gone” is a good tune.

Nicole is an actress who sings jingles and also works as a voice over performer. You might have heard Nicole doing voice over work for Play Station. On a more serious note, she’s worked as a voice over actress on the animated series “Life is Worth Living,” which focuses on teen suicide prevention.

On “Now You’re Gone,” Nicole gives her unique and passionate interpretation to a familiar story of a relationship that has reached its crossroads. The story that she tells is of someone who observes a gulf that has grown between her and the man in her life. And has she reflects back on the broken promises to remain a part of her life, Nicole confronts the reality that the person she has given her life to is gone and that she must move ahead alone. Check out the song and video for “Now You’re Gone” here.
