First Listen: Cory Henry Celebrates “Happy Days”

cory_henry

January 31, 2021 — Cory Henry is a singer/songwriter, pianist and organist from Brooklyn.  A former member of the much-beloved band Snarky Puppy, Henry embarked on his solo career in 2018 and released his second full-length album, Something To Say, last October.  His music is a mix of gospel, funk, jazz and soul influences, all anchored by his gifted work on the keys.

We feature here his song “Happy Days,” a joyous, uptempo track with a decidedly 70’s vibe that will make you smile.  It came out on its own several months before the album, but it is worth checking out now. Enjoy.
