(July 8, 2021) San Francisco-based Cornell “CC” Carter has made a lasting impression on listeners stateside and abroad over the last few years with uplifting gems like “That Feelin’,” “Say Yes,” and “I See Love.” Continuing on his musical journey in a fashion that similarly blends inviting grooves with classic melodies and positive lyrical passages, he’s now prepping for the release of his fifth full-length album, Next Life, with the decidedly danceable “Not Possible.”

Carter’s signature tenor stylings, which have also graced backgrounds on records by greats ranging from Narada Michael Walden to Santana, are right at home in the rhythmically engaging and hook-smart “Not Possible.” It’s a fun preview of Next Life, which is due in the fall. Take a First Listen to the track below and give us your thoughts on the newest jam from Cornell “CC” Carter!
