(November 14, 2018) Singer, keyboardist and songwriter Chris Jasper became a Hall of Famer for his work as a foundational member of two legendary groups: The Isley Brothers and Isley/Jasper/Isley. Chris went on three decades ago to a memorable solo career, that has incorporated 15 albums, including his newest, the terrific Dance With You.
Dance With You highlights Chris’s songwriting skills, as he conquers various styles and tempos, all of which work well. One of the songs that has been getting raves around the world is “Show Somebody Love.” It’s a cool midtempo with a message of brotherhood and unity that sounds just right for 2018. And the groove is perfect for evening listening.
