We’ll confess that until recently we had never heard of singer/songwriter Carmichael Musiclover, but the Alabama-based artist has quickly made us converts. He just released his 4th album, Love SoulJah, and to us he sounds like just the kind of artist that adult soul music lovers should be digging.
Carmichael has previously written for artists ranging from N’Dambi, K-Jon and Tony Rich, but he has the kind of voice that deserves front billing. And he proves that on his brand new single, “Loveship,” a classic soul love ballad. He tells us, “The expression ‘Loveship’ defines the ultimate relationship. It’s a divine connection between two individuals based on friendship, love and business partnership.” It’s also a really nice song.
