(February 27, 2019) We’ve been following the career of singer (and physician!) Candace Bellamy for a few years now. The Austin, Texas-based singer and songwriter is an artist who not only possesses a classic voice, she is fearless in how she tests it in soul, jazz, rock or blues songs.
Candace has returned with a new EP called This Feeling, and it shows her continuing to stretch as an artist. In our latest First Listen, she duets with an electric guitar on a sparsely arranged swing ballad that allows her to show off her voice in an environment that doesn’t let anything hide – and it works beautifully.
