(May 22, 2017) — Calvin Richardson has been a soul music favorite for more than a decade now and is a past SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Award winner for Best Male Vocalist.
SoulTrackers may remember a few years ago when Calvin did an album filled with Bobby Womack covers. Well, he channels the legendary Mr. Womack again in his newest single, “Treat Her Right.” He opens the song with Womack-ian spoken word advice about keeping a love strong and follows with a southern soul ballad that hits all the right marks.
