Last year we introduced SoulTrackers to singer and multi-instrumentalist Brother Reggie, and you all responded to the Washington D.C.-based artist’s new take on an Enchantment classic. Brother Reggie has been performing around the DMV for years, engaging audiences with smooth jazz, soul and contemporary gospel original and cover selections.
Brother Reggie does it all as an artist: plays all of the instruments, sings all of the vocals, arranges, produces and records everything in his home studio. And for his latest single, this Columbus, Ohio native has a new song that will be familiar to SoulTrackers.
“Send For Me” is a Quiet Storm favorite originally performed by Atlantic Starr. Now, Brother Reggie has turned loose his emotive vocals on this song, making it a nice addition to his many successful cover songs. We know that he has some more songs in the works, and we can’t wait to hear them. Brother Reggie is the self-proclaimed “UnderCover Boss of beautiful soul songs lost,” introducing old school jams to a younger generation of listeners who may have never heard them.
“Send for Me” is our newest SoulTracks Choice Cut. Check out this great single below, and welcome Brother Reggie back to SoulTracks!
