First Listen: Big Wade returns with “No More”

(May 24, 2025) The ability of an artist to have persistence in the music industry can be endearing to many. It is not easy to continue to create year after year, while staying motivated to release material to the public to enjoy. For Le’Wade Milliner aka Big Wade, his dedication has resulted in writing over 200 songs and producing over 800 tracks to date. In addition to his prolific ability, he has shared the stage with artists ranging from Al Green to Too Short. On the heels of his most recent album, 2023’s Piano Man, Big Wade returns with a new single entitled “No More.”

On “No More,” this Omaha native crafts a ballad that shows his prowess as a songwriter and producer. Layering vocals, vocoders and keys over this track, Big Wade has a song that is made for the Quiet Storm circuit. He delivers an emotional vocal performance that is an attempt to win back the woman that he loved. It’s an ode to a common theme of classic R&B songs that many still identify with and love to this day. And Wade successfully melds this classic theme with a contemporary sound. The song stands well on its own merit.

“No More” is a solid starting point for Big Wade’s upcoming album, and is the latest benchmark in a 20+ year career that illustrates how persistence can produce tremendous results.
