(December 20, 2018) Bey Bright‘s latest compilation album, Top Indie Soul Hits,Vol. 1, finds the producer, songwriter and label executive giving the ladies some shine. Eight of the album’s 11 tracks showcase female vocalists lending their mature, diverse and power packed vocals to a series of tracks geared toward drawing people onto the dance floor. This project serves as a reminder that grown folks like to groove as much as their younger counterparts. Stepper’s music is the ultimate expression of that sentiment because it is this generation’s ballroom dancing, serving as a throwback to an era when couples danced with flair and style even as it incorporates elements of contemporary R&B as well as hip hop in terms of production techniques.
“Natural High,” featuring the seductive vocals of Tia Dae, tells the story of a woman who sees a familiar face at the club in the form of a man who knows how to move and lift her on the dance floor.
