(July 14, 2020) People in the ATL know the name Anthony Brewer, who has been singing locally for years, and has made a name for himself as a background for many of Gospel music’s greatest singers, from Marvin Sapp to Yolanda Adams to Brian Courtney Wilson. And now the transplant from Michigan City, Indiana is looking to create a much bigger following with his new single, “The Losing End,” produced and arranged by former Motown songwriter, Jimmy Roach.
“The Losing End” is the familiar story of a man who is going through a rough patch with his lady – and is finding that things are rougher than he thought.
The midtempo number has a lightly arranged, mostly electronic background that puts Brewer’s vocals and harmonic overdubs up front to good effect.
“The Losing End” is making waves around the US. Check out Anthony Brewer below and tell us what you think about “The Losing End.”
