(January 7, 2023) Back in 1992, during her Imperial run, Sade delivered one of her all-time classic songs with “Kiss of Life.” That song shot into the top five of every major chart around the world and became part of the contemporary vocal jazz canon.
Now, three decades later, saxman supreme Andre Ward teases out the inherent musicality of that classic in a brand new, all instrumental version of “Kiss of Life.” The cut features Ward’s expressive saxophone laid on top of a cool, steady groove. It is the newest single from his hit album, Africa Rising.
