(October 21, 2024) Ambri Rae’s “What I Know” is a song about coming to the realization that you don’ messed up, and there’s nothing you can do about it. The set up is that she took her ex for granted, let him go and realized too late not only is one woman’s trash another’s treasure, but he’s a gem that you thought was a rock.
Perhaps she went out and happened to see her ex and his next at a restaurant gazing into each other’s eyes, or maybe she’s home by herself on a weekend and the phone is not ringing. Regardless of the circumstance, Ambri Rae embodies a woman who is fully triggered and totally in her feels.
“What I Know” can be found on Ambri Rae’s EP Even Better Now. The project contains a few noteworthy tracks, including “My Turn,” a track where to turns the tables and lets her fella know that two can play the late, late night on the town game, and the sensual “Blues For Him.”
