(October 20, 2016) One of the best things about 2016 has been the musical reunion of After 7, one of our favorite groups of the 90s. They’ve now returned with two top 10 hits and an album, Timeless, that is all that.
One of the highlights of their new album is a touching take on the classic Stylistics ballad, “Betcha By Golly Wow,” with Kevon Edmonds laying his expressive tenor voice on a song that was just about perfect the first time around. It is somewhat audacious to take it on, but the cover version absolutely works.
