A year after receiving two SoulTracks Readers’ Choice Award nominations, Ty delivers a caution to the woman sitting next to him that she shouldn’t overread his affection for her. “You can kiss my lips, you can hold my hand. But don’t squeeze the fruit.”
The romantic warning is presented amid a blues-infused soundtrack, with Ty’s low key, smooth vocals riding on top of the jam.
Ty tells us: “This is the first single from my upcoming album called Don’t Squeeze The Fruit. A bluesy funk head bobbin’ vibe with some fun lyrics to make you smile. Somebody may ask the question, what fruit is he talking about? My answer is, I’ll leave that up to you!! Blessings to you all.”
