(May 30, 2025) Romance has always been a part of Q Parker’s musical vocabulary. That was the case when Q Parker was a founder and member of the singing hit making group 112, as well as during his career as a solo artist.
So, his new song “Keep on Lovin’” finds Q Parker putting those classic romantic lyrics into a contemporary R&B musical package – with Parker expressing his desire to meet every physical and emotional need of his woman.
Parker came to the attention of the public at a time when R&B balladry was making the transition from an art form that asked each listener to create a picture of intimacy to one that left little to the imagination. He ably walked that artistic tightrope both as a member of 112 and as a solo artist, but “Keep on Lovin’” shows that he’s clearly more comfortable on the old-fashioned romance side of the fence.
