SoulTrackers know that we’ve been huge fans of the husband/wife duo Kindred the Family Soul since the get go. Their unique messages of marital and community love have often seemed countercultural to what is often on radio, but have struck a chord and been an inspiration for millions of people living their daily lives. And those messages have been draped in more than a decade of fantastic songs and always on point vocals.
Fatin and Aja will be returning on August 30 with brand new music that is sure to inspire and entertain. Legacy of Love is the duo’s 6th album and it simply sounds great. The new album features production from Grammy award winning producers Vidal Davis (Usher, Michael Jackson, Jill Scott) and James Poyser (Dangelo, Anthony Hamilton, Erykah Badu), as well as hit makers Anthony Bell, Melvin Chaos Lewis and Steve McKie. It focuses on the group’s message of the transformative power of love and how they’ve built a life and career celebrating this needed theme. And we’re excited to be featuring it as our CD of the Month for September.
