Bilal is known as an artist’s artist, one of the most talented singers and musicians around. He stirred up a lot of attention for his excellent 2001 debut album, First Born Second, and he has continued to bring innovative, compelling music to his fans ever since.
As Bilal begins work on his next album, A Love Surreal, coming in early 2013 on Purpose Music Group/Entertainment One, he is documenting the process in a series of videos titled Being Bilal. This week we have the WORLD PREMIERE of the newest installment, which gives a behind-the-scenes look at his visit to the famous Howard Theater in Washington, D.C. Bilal talks about his music and introduces us to the band that will be a part of A Love Surreal.
