Tim Dillinger has traveled in both Gospel and Hip-Hop circles over the past decade on the strength of his multi-octave voice. Having worked with noted artists Tata Vega, Reba Rambo and Daryl Coley, Dillinger established himself as a excellent backing vocalist before moving to Nashville in 2001 and beginning to work in that city’s growing hip-hop community.
After several years in the background, Dillinger spent over a year working on his solo debut album, Love Is On My Mind, independently released in May 2004 on his Icon’s Pen label. The album made some noise in both Soul and Gospel circles. Dillinger followed it two years later with The Muse, an ambitious disc featuring guest appearances by Frank McComb, Daryl Coley and Akua Taylor.
