I’ve studied music all my life starting with the clarinet, then the saxophone for about 10 years. I later added the piano, guitar and bass for production reasons. I started writing and producing songs for The Mar-Keys, a group I sang with before I went solo with my first project "I Don’t Wanna Come Down" on Polydor Records, a featured song from the motion picture "Breakin 2 Electric Boogaloo."
I love art, acrylic and oil painting, clay sculpturing and drawings. I love to watch sports when I have the time. I love all people and believe the world is one big family that simply needs to learn to love and respect each other. My dad told me "tongue and teeth fall out sometimes but you don’t pull your teeth to keep from biting your tongue."
