La Veda, born in Miami, FL, has appeared on a multitude of tracks, ranging from Soulful House, to R&B and Jazz. With over 20 collaborations under her belt, this cross genre multi-talented artist has a distinct vocal style. In 2011 she performed around the country, Seattle, Oakland, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Los Angeles, Detroit (DEMF), South Beach (WMC) for a 7 month stint in support of her debut solo release, “Sticky/Foreplay” (Harlem Station Recordings).
La Veda has also graced the stage in Amsterdam, Paris, New York, Washington DC and Miami.
La Veda straddles various musical genres, from Urban Soul fused with Jazz to R&B with Electronica undertones. Sleek and smoldering vocals are expertly woven. La Veda has distinctive and unforgettable melodic flavor.
