Ohio born singer Gavin Gregory has established himself in a relatively short time as a singer to watch. Known more for his work on stage, he has also shown himself a solid soul singer with a bright future.
Raised in a house of soul music, with Aretha, Stevie and Marvin blaring over the stereos, Gavin expanded his taste as a teen to include the great jazz vocalists. He moved to Atlanta as a young adult and worked regularly in theater there. His big break on Broadway came when he was cast in Disney’s "The Lion King." An even bigger role came in 2006 when he took on a major role in the new musical version of "The Color Purple."
In early 2007, Gregory released his debut album, The First Time Around.
