New York-based singer/songwriter Chester Gregory has been "bubbling under" for a few years. He’s been seen mostly in musical plays, portraying Jackie Wilson for three years in The Jackie Wilson Story and more recently in the Broadway musicals Hairspray (as Seaweed) and Cry Baby. While still developing as a songwriter, Gregory has shown his 5-octave vocal chops around New York for a few years, building up a fanbase in the soul music community.
After a couple years of work on it, in 2008 Gregory will be releasing In Search of High Love, his debut album, working with noted producers Dave Tozer and P.J. Morton.
