Allison McKenzie flawlessly blends pop and R&B together with her smooth Anita Baker-like vocals and fresh songwriting skills. Hailing from Freehold, New Jersey, she’s currently working with her own band to launch her debut album, First Love, due out January 2016. As if one musical endeavor was not enough, she’s also the lead vocalist in New Jersey’s hottest new band, a 19 piece jazz and hip-hop band called, Big Beat. For someone who’s just starting her career in the music business, Allison is off to a great start.
