We recently introduced SoulTrackers to singer and songwriter Krishawna, and you went for her big time.
Krishawna has a fascinating life story to tell, and she tells it in her new concept EP, Full Disclosure. She was raised in the church by a single mother who was trying to make ends meet, even as she was drawn to street life.
That dichotomy of the sacred and the secular is the centerpiece of Full Disclosure, as it covers the journey of a young woman who is drawn in many directions by her faith and her environment. Produced by Ben Obi (Alexander O’Neal, Timotha Lanae), it is an attractive and real debut album by an artist with something to say.
Full Disclosure is our newest SoulTracks Album of the Month, and it is a fine introduction of an artist with a lyrical and musical message to deliver.
