Sherwin Gardner has electrified congregations and audiences in his homeland of Trinidad & Tobago and around the world with his no-nonsense adoration for Jesus, whether through fiery soca rhythms or in the tranquil worship zone.
“Because of You” is the initial single from his upcoming Tyscot debut, Greater. Though the words are few, Gardner delivers a quiet yet encouraging plea to those in doubt: “You said I’d survive this storm, This rain…/You said I’d survive because of Your grace.” Though this particular song has been one of Gardner’s more popular songs abroad in the last year, North American gospel fans will finally receive an opportunity of the fervor that resonates within this veteran praise and worship leader.
