SoulTracks Looks Back: Glenn Lewis says “It’s Not Fair”

Canadian-born singer Glenn Lewis was briefly the toast of the music world in the early 2000s. Epic Records signed Lewis in 2002, teaming him with writer/producers Andre Harris and Vidal Davis, who had previously scored with Musiq and Jill Scott. The result of their collaboration was World Outside My Window, one of the year’s most critically acclaimed albums. One of the great songs from that notable album that touched a lot of folks — but maybe hasn’t received the shine it deserved since then — was the great slow song, “It’s Not Fair.” It reminds us why Glenn Lewis made such a splash with World and makes us all want to hear from him again soon!
